Challenges

It seems quite frequent when you start something new, things crop up to try to deter a person from continuing.

So it is with this blog, with my writing, and many other things. Especially if you commit to something you believe God has given you to do, you can be assured the enemy is going to do everything he can to stop your efforts.

There may be changes in the layout of the site in order to keep doing this blog, but it will continue. For a while, you’ll get these simple blog posts, where my original plan was for some teaching posts, but we can get to that in the future.

Now, as important as anything I could write, let me encourage you to read God’s Word and to spend time in conversation with Him. It doesn’t have to be fancy, wordy prayers, but approach him as a Father, as a friend, and talk to him as such. Remember, He knows your heart, your mind, and He loves you in all of it. So be comfortable sharing, seeking Him, asking Him, acknowledging that the answer may sometimes be a no, but it is still part of His Perfect Will for you, even if you don’t understand it. He has a plan for you.
